
Steffy Thevar
Steffy Thevar is an Indian Journalist working with the Times of India. She writes on health, urban infrastructure and gender parity issues. In her decade long career span she has reported extensively on Covid19, gender disparity in organ donation and infrastructural gaps in govt healthcare facilities in the country. For her story on the wide gap in living organ donors and recepients in men and women she won the nationally reputed award, Laadli Media award. She has been part of the National REACH Fellowship focusing on Cancer care. She had completed her Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from Savitribai Phule Pune University's and is currently pursuing Bachelors in Law to widen her horizon. She is a passionate journalist with an eye for numbers and thae human story behind those numbers. She has been vocal for various health issues on multiple platforms.
