Danielle Tower leads the Scientific & Regulatory Affairs organisation at BAT, which ensures scientifically robust and responsible product stewardship of all of BATs products across all product categories, paramount in safeguarding consumers and delivering product portfolios that are legally compliant in markets all around the world (ex-US).

Danni joined BAT in 2018 and over her first 5 years in the company held various leadership roles in BAT’s Vapour Category R&D organisation, encompassing device development, eliquids discovery & development, the BAT Flavour Centre of Excellence which delivers Flavour innovation for all of BAT’s product categories, and Cannabinoid Product Innovation.An MEng Chemical Engineer by training, Danni joined BAT after a 20 year career at Procter & Gamble. She has experience in th

e design, development, and delivery of novel consumer-centric product innovation for global markets across a diverse range of product categories, including Laundry, Healthcare, Beautycare, Male Grooming, Prestige Fine Fragrances & Cosmetics, before the last 8 years in Smokeless tobacco and nicotine product innovation. Across all these product categories, Danni has applied capability in Technical Product Insights to drive meaningful product innovation; i.e., translation of in-depth consumer understanding into winning product strategies, propositions, stories & claims.
