Philipp Hansen

Philipp works as EU Affairs Director in the JTI EU Affairs Team in Brussels. In this role he advocates for and engages on the company’s business priorities with the EU institutions and other third parties.Prior to that Philipp held the role of Deputy Secretary General for the European Liberals (ALDE Party) in Brussels and worked as a project coordinator in German development cooperation in the Middle East.A 48 year old German, Philipp obtained a Masters in political sciences from the University of Bonn, Germany, studied at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and holds an Executive MBA from the Vlerick Business school in Belgium.
