Tony Dunnage
Tony has been in the Consumer Goods sector since 1987, holding various senior management roles at Unilever, primarily within the Supply Chain discipline. In the early 2000s, Tony shifted his focus to Sustainability. Under his leadership, Unilever achieved zero landfill in over 240 factories across 70 countries by 2014. This accomplishment included reducing the Unilever Supply Chain carbon footprint by more than 40%, cutting water abstraction by over 30%, and achieving nearly 30% energy reduction. Tony attributes this success to a combination of people engagement, data, and technology.
Since joining Imperial Brands in July 2021, Tony has continued his mission of driving similar achievements. As a Supply Chain and Sustainability Professional, he challenges the status quo and ensures that businesses truly embody their sustainability commitments. With extensive experience at both global and local levels, Tony oversees Imperial Brands’ Global ESG Strategy. His focus includes decarbonising the value chain to achieve Net Zero by 2040, as well as managing the company’s Health and Safety agenda, among other responsibilities.
